Just looking at the GS Rallye on the Motorrad website and you can only add packages of equipment. Can you specify a new bike and pick & choose what components you want without getting everything in a package? For instance, if i were to spec a GS Rallye I wouldn't want the ESA, but i would want the on-board computer and cruise control all found in the 'Premium' package. Just wondered how much a GS Rallye would be, with the components i'd like.

I'm fairly sure you'd have to buy the packs, unfortunately. The accountants will have decided that this will make them more money.:blast:rolleyes:

Go to a dealer and tell them you want a new bike with X Y and Z

Ask for a quote in writing and delivery date and give them something as a deposit should you find the price agreeable ?

If they miss the date you can get your deposit back

Dealers will be spec'ing bikes just now for 3 to 4 moths down the line

That's why a lot of 1150 series ended up with Servo ABS because the dealers specced 90% of them at ordering time (without pre orders) thinking they were a lifesaver (and to be fair theere were a very very few ABS II failures and they tended to be sensors rather than system failures)!

ah i see yeah, the only one i had tried like that was the onboard computer and that automatically added the premium package. I guess thats one of the ones you cant have on its own.

I wanted my LC specced the same as my old TC model , ie led indicators, heated grips, onboard computer but no abs/esa . Obviously now you must get ABS but I still wanted the onboard computer but not ESA (was going to get maxton to rework the shocks off my TC) and it was a no go with the LC model.
