New bike tomorrow.......excitement growing

I pick up a new virgin (white) 800GS tomorrow morning first thing.

Thankfully the weather looks as though it will favour some mileage being applied

I have followed some of the more interesting threads here over the last few weeks and will be adding some more bits and pieces to those extras fitted by my obliging dealer.

Is there anyone within reasonable distance of Notts who has the Adventure Spec crash bars fitted ? I have long legs and I am wondering whether my knees will end up too close to the bars. If I could sit on a bike with them fitted would help make my decision. Any offers appreciated.

You lucky, lucky boy.....where are you picking it up from?.....i have the touratech engine bars and upper bars on mine...if this is any use. I am pondering on going over to Pidcocks tomorrow for a run out.

Hmmmmmm......you may well be correct .........except that I will of course be doing 130 (on the local autobahn)

The Beagle has landed ............

Picked up my new bike this morning and managed to get a few miles on her .
Enjoyed throwing it into corners on some local B roads I know quite well.
Have a few more additions lined up before I take my first big trip on her .
