getting a GS800 (2011) as part of a new job starting tomorrow, can i wire in my zumo 550 without setting warning lamps off?
got lead to batt , just need another mount/ram ball so i can use the zumo on my 1150.
Does it have a plastic tank? have a magnetic bag i can use if so!

Will the bmw 1150 gs tank bag fit the 800??

dont want to spend money on a company bike, but need to make it more everyday friendly!

The tank is under the seat, not a good place to put a tank bag! The dummy tank is plastic, so no magnetic bags. There is a socket under the dummy tank that is made for plugging in your Garmin. You just need a connecgting lead from your BMW dealer.

Or if you have a BMW type plug just plug into the 12v socket next to the ignition switch

Or plug it directly to the battery, that's what I've done, no probs at all

I have my garmin wired via the spare socket, you can get the lead from Nippy Normans.

Trying to get a tank bag to fit is difficult, I have this http://www.touratech.com/shops/008/popup_image.php?pID=8081&osCsid=728d2636b0cd0ff8bfa4142847fc934f and it works well, bit pricey though.

Bike mounted mobile engineer for gaming machines!

After 2 days riding the 800 it's literally a pain in the ass!

Might be job going next week!! Lol
