Well , thanks BMW and especially Blade Motorrad Birmingham for their help in getting me a replacement bike.

My 2015 bike June 15 after 6500 miles has now been replaced by a new 2016/17 Triple Black.

At last.

Must be the 6th or 7th.:nenau I hope you have luck in love:D

What was wrong with the old one .... is there a thread somewhere? :nenau

New engine at 4200 miles due to worn bores and faulty injectors , then at 2000 miles worn cams and gear , 8 miles later the cam wheel works loose and knackers engine , we they fixed it but I said fcuk off.
Before that I had a 13 with as may issues but this time refused to lose.
Happy days

In total - 2 bikes 18000 miles and four engines...... Wish me luck this time as there is not another bike I would like to own or ride apart from my GS

Nice one mate. Got any mods planned? And where are the pictures, man?:D

Pick the bike up next week after plates changed over , MRA Screen back on , rear pegs off , full system , engine guards , busters remove rear bumper and centre stand and change the ANakee 111 tyre for some proper rubber, before I do a mile.

Have you ever thought that you might be a fucking jinx?

So I assume you're removing the centre stand, rear pegs etc to reduce weight, then you're fitting better rubber to presumably improve high speed handling. You clearly ride bikes hard, are you sure this is the right bike for you?

All that and id defo be finding a different model i think id have jumped to Katoom after all that or gone mt10..i mean how can you go ride that new bike and not worry its gonna lunch itself....guess warranty helps but jeez...

Sounds as tho he's got a good dealer whom shall look after him if the shit hits the fan, but 4 engines in 2 bikes ! Sounds like a lot of inconvenience, but I'm sure they have looked after you.

MT10? Other than having two wheels, I can't think of any other similarities. :nenau

I don't get trying to make the GS into something it isn't just get an XR or if you like the boxer that much an RS
