Motorola have just released the HS830 Bluetooth Helmet Headset

I saw examples on display at the Laguna Seca Moto GP meeting a couple of weekends ago. They didn't have them for sale there and then or I'd have been tempted to buy one. That's quite fortunate as it turns out since it appears that they're actually quite a bit cheaper here in the UK.

I think that's the one they released last year, together with Momo.... they're having problems getting it out reliably...

Hope you rented a motorcycle to get to the Laguna Seca MotoGP.
I was with a few mates from Down Under and we rented a car. Started queuing at 8:10am to get into the track, and it took nearly three hours !!!!
Watched the race from outside the fence at Turn 11 where we could also see one of the big screens. After the race, bolted for the car and escaped in 30 minutes. Heard that some took 5 hours to get out.
And what has this to do with your subject .... ?
Well, nothing actually, but did have a look at the Motorola gear and found that they still had a lot of development to do, particularly if you wanted to hook it into another system like Autocom.
Ciao,
