New BMW Navigator GPS ?

Phoned BMW this morning to order a new shiney Navigator 3 and was told it was discontinued. Another new one about to be launched. Does anyone know if this is correct and anything about it please ? And should i get it or are they overpriced ?

Just checked with Motorrad Central downstairs & they have no knowledge of it being discontinued.

I've had one on my bike for about 6 months & it's a first class bit of kit but way overpriced in comparison with other models.

Well i double checked this morning with someone who apparently is "in the know" and was told there were 50 more units destined for the UK then that would stop as a new version was due out sometime before the summer.

Im sure they wouldnt make it up as i was going to buy the Nav 3 but now will hold out for the next one.

Perhaps they have been listening to the complaints and have added the stuff you guys want like mp3 etc.

The trouble is if you wait for the next model there is always a new on in development, I have a Navi III and I think it is a great bit of kit.
Use your knowledge to get a good deal and enjoy.

If the new Nav IV is based on the Zumo my guess is that the current Nav III is a MUCH better choise. We'll see what shows up.
