For information: The dam where the bridge is going to be constructed, the Cedillo dam, is open from 09:00 Saturday (10:00 AM Spanish time) until Midnight on a Sunday, this may be useful if you are in the interior of Spain or Portugal.

Indeed it is… but sometimes a bridge or two, saves reenacting Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid each day.

The blurb says that the Portuguese see a value in the multi-million project, to encourage growth (ie. people) in the interior region.
