The smell around the relocation of the embassy, its sheer and somewhat vulgar size (let alone its ultimate purpose) increases:

Starmer has now given approval.

The proposed site for the building of the Chinese embassy will be the largest in Europe for a foreign embassy, that alone asks many questions.
I and many more seek to know the reason for such a foreign colossus of unnecessary proportions to be built in the centre of our capital. Furthermore, the foreign country who will occupy it have a questionable human rights record.
Given the size and proximity of it, the whole thing appears a bit dodgy to say the least.
Furthermore, lots of people in that particular area with be forced to give up their apartments and move out to make way for this building. Good luck to them as they plan to fight it.
 
It’s just not right. Smellier than a week old crab left in the sun.
It’s not like there are millions of Chinese in the UK desperate for a bigger Embassy. Why do the Chinese need one so big? Once it’s up and running the UK government or security services will have no idea what’s going on inside.
