Finally some competition again for Brittany Ferries

Poole - Santander starts 3rd November

Leaving Poole on Tuesdays and Saturdays and returning from Santander on Thursdays and Sundays

seems alot cheaper too :D £175 for 1 bike 2ppl in cabin in feb return

Isn't the Norman Asturias an old pentioned off Balearia paddle steamer :D

The old P&O 'Butlins Boat to Bilbao' was bad enough and full of Chavs.... even att complained about the noise when we were on it :D

With these prices the Norman Asturias will be full of the great unwashed :augie

If it's blowing a gale in the Bay of Biscay - give me the Pont Aven any day :thumb2

That 24 hours in comfort down to Spain is the making of any holiday :D

I Agree, I just hope the gale stops soon as we are on the Pont Aven on Tuesday heading for a week in the Picos. :thumb2

I think prices only run until the end of 2013 & 2014 prices will be issued in Jan

I can go on my bike this week - try a trial booking for nov 2013

I did a quote the other day for a bike and it gave me a figure. Couldn't get car or bike too far into next year - I presume they haven't worked the schedule out that far yet.

I spoke to Ld lines on Thursday and was told they would have the 2014 timetable in a cpl of weeks for the Santander to Poole run.

Sounds perfect, may keep Brittany prices down a shade - and remove the Chavs from my sailing :D

Price I got on their trial schedule with bike and a recliner each way was 160 return ---- too much to hope for June time, but even still got to be better than 390 from brittany9recliner 1 way cabin going out)

i bet it isn't.

and i wouldn't even go on BF without a cabin both ways.

id rather save 200 quid and put up with a bit of discomfort :D

160 ret is massively cheap

i admire your fortitude :)

...and it's a shitload of discomfort :D

If your camping at the other end, the floor around the recliner is usually as good as any campsite, would much prefer a cabin but at the cost--not an option----at least at standard rates.
