I do personally expect the NEW Continental Teves brakes in fall 2006, they may be presented at INTERMOT 2006 in Cologne/Germany to the public.
I have reason to believe that rumours from the German motorbike press and newspapers in the past were wrong that said the NEW Continental Teves brakes will be available with the new models in March 2006, like the BMW R1200S and BMW R1200GS Adventure. My guess is that they will even equip the K1200GT with these flawed FTE Integrated brakes.
And yesterday I got the confirmation that the German police is still interrogating witnesses in Germany, affected riders, that experienced brake failures. In this case it was a poor rider that got the sensation of residual brakes in the alps because of the very well known brake-light switch bug.
It's simply amazing what's going on.
