Had a ramp but gets in the way when not in use. You can park your bike on it when it’s down but number of times I caught my ankle on the corner when walking past in the garage!! Gave it away to my brother and got a Skylift.
Superb device. Benefits are you can dismantle it when not in use or just push it into a corner. You can also vary the height & angle of the bike but also spin it around or move it out of the way with the bike still on it.

Yup.. that's my thoughts on it. I would imagine a table would be a pain after a bit. Even if you could park your bike on it, getting it on and off all the time does create some risks.
My mate got a table once, first time he tried it he rode the bike on and then realised there was no where to put your feet down... that cost him a few $ and a broken foot
