Fitted this tonight and done a 50 mile run. Slightly louder than standard with a deeper tone that's similar to my 1250 with it's Akra. It now sounds like a GS.

Having ridden a demo with the Akra silencer, and subsequently used mine for a little while without the slip-on silencer on at all (still too quiet) it would seem that the collector/cat/valve would need to be replaced to get some decent sounds and cover the engine clatter.
The previous bike (2018 1200GS) sounded great with the Akra cat and valve-free collectors, but they don’t seem to be doing anything like that yet for the 1300, nor does Remus. I wonder if the Euro 5 regs make this sort of thing more difficult…
However, a company called QD seem to have come up with their own collectors, but still with a valve. Has anybody here had any dealings with them? They’re new to me.

I've disconnected the flappy valve which has improved things.
Removing the flappy valve did it throw any warning lights up ?
No faults. No difference in performance just slightly 'rortier'
