Am I right in thinking that these just fit with a bit of easing with a mallet?

With perhaps a little washing up liquid to lube the fittings?

Best not to use washing up liquid as it can break down rubber !

Trust in your mates!

Rub a bit of the lubricant from off of any quality latex prophylactic.

Just immersed mine in warm water, pressed down on top while pulling underneath, worked for me, good luck.

I just jump up and down on the buggers till they give up and re fit.
