im really struggling to get rubbers off an 11 rt so i can heat them up to get the seized pins out, i can twist them but they wont pull off, anyone know if they need lots of force or a technique? suppose it doesnt help they're not bolted to the bike s that could be the next step to have a bit more leverage on them. Slowly nearing completion of a big rebuild!

On my 2019 RT the rear peg pins were in there tight.
I ended up removing the whole hanger and putting them in my vice.
A bit of heat and a hammer and punch soon got it out.
I now keep them well greased and check them weekly.
wrap the peg rubber with some tinfoil and make a small shield to go in front of the rubber to stop it burning.
Also clean out the pin hole

Thanks, putting the carriers on the bike gave some leverage to get a good twist and pull and they eventually came off.
Pins were really stubborn and had to break out the map torch to get them to move.
Next to find a replacement for the abs sensor which came out of the front fork in pieces (rear only just came out and wont go back in as it seems to have swelled up or some nonsense). Quite disappinted with the 'quality german engineering' there making the front sensor a tight fit in an alu hole exposed to all the road salt, eejots!
Exhaust on next, will need a bit more fettling as it wont go in the head , seems another daft design again having 2 headers on one pipe that slot into deep bores. ho hum
