I have one and I'm delighted with it. If anyone has any questions I'll do my best to answer them.

Me to....... Was a bugger to fit to the WC TE due to the amount of wiring in the loom.

Also noticed that unlike the 660, there is no line out on the unit or car mount. Which means you can't hear it through the car stereo any more........ Bit of a oversight by Garmin me thinks.

Most bods, or at least those that like sound, favour Bluetooth for its apprentice simplicity. It therefore makes sense to remove the 'noise out' channel for a motorcycle orientated device.

Many car's radios now feature Bluetooth compatibility, rendering a speaker cradle all but irrelevant. No doubt someone will bring out a basic cradle / power supply for use in a car in due course.

There was a write up somewhere that the cradle for this one is basically the same as the 660 and still has a line out for connection to the likes of autocom. Not everyone is particularly impressed by Bluetooth, well not until they bring out a battery that will last for 14 days with continuos use.

The only adverse comment that I might add is ref the battery life.. Blurb says battery life is FOUR hours but when mine is off
the power source - not charging - the best that I can get is 2.5 hours. Will be contacting the supplier pronto ref this , for a gadget costing best part of £600 it is going to have to work better. All in all a nice tool though..
End of rant .........:blagblah
