Ok I have one of the new generation cameras coming and will do a full review. It looks like I have also sealed a good deal for UkGSer's as well.

Initial impressions and spec are superb!.... for a sneak look go to http://www.tachyoninc.com/

Once it arrives I will write up the review

Interest...

I'd be very interested in your thoughts. Are you planning on selling them ?

If so, what might they retail for in UK ?

Looking for a good one of these for SWMTF. If it translates to about £100 - £125 it looks like what she's after.

Do you expect to get it before Christmas?

It looks good and at a great price to - I bought an Oregon Scientific Action Camera a while back, similar spec, but the remote is infra-red so only seems to work when you are facing the camera, definately be interested to find out if this one is any better.

Just reading the FAQ's and the remote for this system is IR too.

Ok the deal was if I buy 8 but Im not going to pay up front for 8 cameras Im afraid. Its still a very good bit of kit at a great price.

Review to follow

Does it have a screen or a viewfinder?

Tried to use a camera like this without and it was a real pain in the arse to set up as you couldn't be sure you had the right angle in the mount until you downloaded the footage to a laptop.

Not great when your on tour.

No screen or viewfinder but the lens is wide so should do the trick hopefully. I think if you set the bracket up and test it your fine as its not going to move anywhere so always the same view. Theres a swivel on one of the mounts so you can turn it around as well.

As Above........

Hello all,
I just ordered one with a 16Gb card and bar mount thing ( was thinking of using it in pub!! Arf arf),
Last video attempt was a really nice Canon video camera Gaffa taped to the front mudguard. Fine at low speed low revs in the dry as soon as you give it a bit it all goes squiffy!
Will let y'all know what this little fella can do as soon as...............
By the by I'm up for the offroad school in April Level 1 Adv. anyone else?
