Well after a 6 week wait my my new R1200GSA TE has landed at my home address :D

There was a few issues with the collection though  my factory fitted alarm was errr...... not fitted :blast my tinted screen is on order and the usual with no panniers for another two weeks. But otherwise I'm a very happy bunny and the bike is a beast thats for sure

So forgive me but I'm going to bore the pants off you all with a pictorial of my collection and subsequent mods fitted :D

So sit back and fall asleep with my pictures :D

Collection at NOG....

Lee @ NOG who I dealt with from viewing to collection... nice chap :thumb

Home now....

Quite a beast

Cockpit view....

Akropovic rear end, sounds great :thumb2

Opted for the Touratech Radiator guards but a bit fiddly to fit, The plastic shrouds had to be 'modified' a tad

Pleased with the end result though.

Fender extender fitted

A good finish that looks like it will last...... hopefully

Won't look like this for long...

New brake set up from my previous 1200GS

My favorite modification by far..... a 1p rubber gromit to fill the ole :D

Last one :D

This will have to earn its keep as I will be commuting 50 miles a day from Beaconsfield to Waterloo SE1  I'm off to Isle of Wight on tuesday for a few days and I'm taking the beast over to visit my mate.

Anyway that's my new toy :beerjug:

Enjoy, consider dumping the TUV rear fender, seems to allow water to " follow the wheel around" and... Looks better. Lovely colour.

great pics, fab bike mate and yes its the best colour with the right farkles...enjoy:D

Loose the baffles on that Ackro. Sounds much better without them.

Just remember to drill the little spot weld of the retaining bolts.

Jon, that's stunning. I'm fighting my inner demons.:D

congratulations, it`s a great looking beast, im seriously considering it, :beerjug:

Can't beat that new bike feeling ! Where did you get the grommit ? Enjoy :thumby:
Pipe looks sweet

I bought a bag of mixed sized rubber bungs on ebay for like 99p. Ive used them on most of my BMW's :thumb2

Thanks for all the nice comments chaps. Much appreciated :thumb2

Off out on it today for a little bimble and some bike bonding :D

Jon :beerjug:

I showed the pictures to my wife, but she's asked for more pictures of your garden!:blast:D

Looks very good in the blue. Enjoy the new bike..
