Consider this, then... Do you need that extra 200 miles? I mean, is that really the be-all-an-end-all of motorcycling - a bike that can go 350 miles on a tank? It's not like garages are 350 miles apart and f*&k knows, even if your ar$e can do that distance for sure your brain cannot, so why tout it as the USP?

I was alright Jack, but everyone else seemed to be congregating at closed petrol stations and looking concerned.

So, 300+ miles when it's not ridden like a 1200cc sportsbike is usefull.

What's all this rubbish about not doing 350 miles in a day?, obvilously been used to arse inthe air head on the ground sports bikes. But most I've got out
of my 1150 with adventure tank was 316 miles, but hadn't run out, this in the states where there CAN be a lonway between petrol stops.

Who did? Comment was range is useful. 4 of my Mates ride KTM's, 1 950, 2 990's & 1 990S.. pain in the arse having to plan a route which passes a garage within 160 miles. Trips round Spain, Portugal & Scotland have had them panicking many a time.
Not about being smug... just secure in the knowledge that your chosen Bike can travel more than once round the block The odd 1200 can manage that

Sorry mate buts that's just a bollox cliche. With the toruing screen, the KTM is every bit as good a tourer as the GS, probably better.

If they are that good I wonder why KTM didn't give Ewan and charlie bikes? I'm not knocking KTM I think they look lovely in orange.

Reading between the lines Pressuriz(s)ed is not happy with a 1200. So no amount of logic or otherwise is going to help........
