New GSA runs rough in 3rd gear

Just got a new 08 GSA and was wondering if they generally ran rough while brand new - just 30 miles on it.

Mostly it seems to run rough just as I get it into 3rd gear then evens out as the RPMs get higher. At first I thought it was me, but I had an experienced friend ride it and he felt the same. It's a different kind of rough running from the type that happens when the speed is too low for a selected gear.

Before I talk to the dealer about it, just wanted to check if it was something that will probably go away agfter a few 100 miles

They can be a bit rough at first,its how you ride them ,dont labour the engine yet dont over rev it .There can be Harmonics at certain speeds ,and certain gears that make it sound rough,normaly gets better with miles .Is it your first GS cos if it is coming from jap stuff its a bit of a tractor

Ask your dealer to resynchronize the throttle bodies at the 1000km mark. Yes the check them at predelivery supposedly but the biggest adjustment is done from new till the 1000 km mark. Its all down to the new throttle cables stretching out
