Do you want a stiffening bracket making?

10/10 for effort, Mark, but as mentioned, I'd be concerned about the screen being too stiff now. If your screen cracks or snaps, BMW will refuse any claims, as you've modified it yourself.
Just my 2p, and I don't mean to piss on your chips.![]()

sometimes , the lack of a curvature on a smallish screen causes the flexing. On larger touring bikes with far larger screens which are properly curved , flexing is not an issue.
is the GSA's issue here an issue of the bracketing holding the screen being not stout enough or the screen itself ?
.
see post 30
That assumes that BMW did indeed design the screen to flex. Negating the alternative theory that they just lobbed on some skinny plastic and a shonky support, as demanded by their bean counting accounts department and /or the general public in their ceaseless pursuit of less weight, more power and less cost / more profit.
The jury is out on this one.

....but let's be honest, how many GSA riders don't put it on the highest setting and then leave it there! I know I have on the two I've owned!
my screen is always on its lowest position. Not sure why you'd want to have it at the highest ?

...and so it starts.....
here they are in black. Btw DB (and good to hear from you - I hope you are well) the screen remains adjustable - you`ve just gotta undo more stuff!
