Just picked up my new GSA which I traded my 2014 gas for. Have to saw the new bike is super. Had heard some talk that changes to meet emissions, gearbox, quick shifter, keyless start etc.
Well for me its all good. Was a bit apprehensive about the quickshifter but it works really well, Thought it would be hard to get used to but it was no problem, got used to it quick and almost asking how did I ever do without it.
Keyless start is pretty handy, only problem is sometimes I forget to press the button to with it off but hopefully I get used to that before someone makes off with it.
Don't think the changes for emissions has made any difference as it feels like it goes just as good if not better than the 2014.
The biggest change I noticed is the gearbox, it is super. On the 2014 it was pretty clunky and anyone I that rode it would say great bike but the gearbox is a bit notch/clunky. I was happy to put up with it as the bike was great in every other way. The gearbox on the 2017 is super and can't believe how much of a difference it makes to riding the bike.
