New GSA?

Whats the view? My dealer is offering one of the last old model (2012 ) GSA's in exchange for my current GSA 2010 (DoC) 12k miles + £5k. Do I wait for the new water cooled model which will be more expensive or go with the tried and trusted air cooled, but will be an end of line.

Is it a good deal?

Other alternative is to carry on running my current bike which needs £500 service + bits.

Sell it privately, and if you want an LC one - get it.


Liquid-cooling is hardly groundbreaking technology, so I wouldn't be too worried about the technicalities.

As above, the water cooled is only going on the GS model for starters I believe, in case of problems that will need ironing out!

keep yours and get some miles on it first i got my 2008 with 20k on the clocks four months ago and shes now at 28k and im sure it rides better

Why?? He's offering a trade price for the p/x. He then has to take the bike in, service it, valet it, warranty it, stock it in a nice shiny showroom and then sell it on for a profit. It's called business

March 2013 for the regular 1250GS, then the GSA will follow roughly a year later, around March 2014.

Exactly If you change a bike when it's fairly new you will get hammered as the 1st years depreciation is the worst. Some people need to get in the real world
