Hi,
Took the new GSA out today on a test ride, found it very nimble, but my question is has any one noticed the noise that comes from the front end, sounds like wind noise .
Think it todo with the air intake vents, very disturbing.thoughts please.

Possibly the best thread since this one.

I sense a full factory recall coming. As you rightly say, very disturbing !!!!

Has it not got a setting to adjust it,it seems to have one for everthing else, what about that wheerly dial thingy on the left grip can that not help:confused:

Spooky.

My Boris bike had a similar whistling noise from the front, as the stiff north breeze played across some part or other.

Was that before or after you fell off it?:aidan

Had a good ride out today, whilst on the move there is a nice air induction sound from the front of the bike. Remember as youngsters we would take the air filter out of the air box on the Avenger or Escort to make it sound 'beast' no?......... well its a bit like that sound.

When I got back I checked and yes my bike does have a air filter fitted.

IMO Its the type of noise that makes you want to twist the throttle so you can hear it more :thumb2

You should try my 95,000 mile, 18 year old, 1340 EVO Harley..Stage one, open pipes.... Open face helmet....

It's a cacophoney of bangs, whistles, thumps, rattles and creaks......

It's great !

I often get a wind noise from my arse, it's intermittent and varies in tone depending on a variety of factors, mainly what food or drink I have consumed. The missus says it is at it's worse when I pull the sheets over her head but Ive been unable to pin it down to one specific cause should I be worried? :drool
