A hall sensor on an 1150 - £151.01 new.

I had the last used one from james sherlock, he asked "whats going on ? everyones been buying them, there's been a bit a rush on these the last couple of days" .

Has anyone got the Farnell part number for the 1150's Hall sensor?I tried a search with no luck.

it is the electronic pick up on the crank for ignition , 600 on order i was told yours is the first one in the world to go wrong sir

The man's correct, the sensors are a very reliable part, but I'll let the 'experts' explain what is the real fault 99% of the time.

Had mine in since Friday, only done a few small trips, bigger one tomorrow to see if it cures the running issues I've had, kind of on a sale or return basis, so if it is OK I guess I owe SPC big bucks for fitting it, if not back to the drawing board to find the fault.....not looking forward to the bill though...
