New helmets, how much do they give over time?

I find Shoei uncomfortable on my forehead, give me a headache after a bit. Arai give me the best fit and trashed a few so swear by them...:thumby: Everybody's different though so takes you to find what you feel best in!

Thanks, but i'm struggling to find that part. Do they do an extension piece? Any links please?

Sorry, I was joking... hence the sarcasm smilie. Would be typical of the 'bean counters' to not include one in the box and then charge extra for it. Sorry to get your hopes up. There maybe one though, I haven't looked.

Making one wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility, though I accept that on a helmet costing that amount it's a glaring oversight on the part of Shoei.

You bugger!:D

Sadly Im not liking the Neotec, maybe its the wrong shape for my head. Not only is the chin strap uncomfortable but now its been sat on my head for an hour its pressing down on the top of my head. Im preferring the fit of the C3 Pro, shame really as the Neotec comes out best in the Sharp tests. Are there any other helmets with internal sun visor?

I've got an arai shaped head; they fit 100% perfectly to my bonce so I won't change; then I tried on a Fox MX lid when I took up laning, enduro etc last year....stone me, a perfect fit :D

@The Bear - BMW System 6 - has internal sun visor and a nice comfy chin strap / strap cover.

Great, that might be the answer to all my prayers:thumb2 I'll pop into my BMW dealer and try one on.

I seem to recall reading it is made in the Schuberth factory but to BMW spec?

I believe that it is. When I bought mine they had only just come out so I was comparing it with other similar 'lids' and for me it felt like a better fit than the Schuberth.

I have a Schuberth C3 and a Shoei Neotec and try to alternate between them, but recently I have tended to use the Neotec more and more and it has become my favourite - it is a bit more comfortable and generally feels better made than the Schuberth. The Shoei wins in hot weather too as it's ventilation system is superb.
