Looking for a decent jacket, up to the 200 pound mark.

Can anyone recommend?

I have a frank thomas currently, but has 2 pockets only.....rubbish!

Up to 200, with more than 2 pockets!!!

cheers :beerjug:

Weise

Hi

I have recently bought a weise nomad was 250 but what a great jacket, british made too, the weise dynastar 2 came top in the ride survey.. worth a look in my opinion.

Take care

Paul

My missus has a Frank Thomas jacket which is a rip off of the BMW RallyPro jacket and has vents, numerous pockets and removable liner. She really rates it.
Not sure what its called but it has 'XT' on it which I think is for X Terrain or something similar.

quite like the Hein Gerike JOURNEY GTX JACKET at £169

or the

Hein Gerike AIR III JACKET at £149

Anyone got any? reviews?

thanks again....anyhoo off for summit cad tu drink :beerjug:

Rev-it

Iv got Rev-it gear and i like it loads,iv got the offroad jacket and dakar pants,iv just bought the mesh jacket and pants for hot weather riding:Motomartin

If you can stretch to it, go for an Aerostich Darien. If new is too expensive they're sometimes available 2nd had on eBay too.

Hein gerike gtx goretex under £200,better quality than most cheap name brands, frank thomas, held, wiese, akito are all just shite imoa and believe me i've bought enough shite over the years to now value quality and top price does not always mean top quality!

HG Master V. New ones not in your price range , but there might be a second hand one in the 4 sal e section that might do the job of you are a 42-44 chest:augie

Must agree.
Look on their website on e-bay, might get one with slight fault, easily sorted for a fraction of the price.

I'll go with Cherokee, Rev'it Air Jacket and Roto pants are excellent for 'hot weather' riding. I'm riding in the UAE with temps hitting upper 40C and they work a treat. Well put together and finish is top notch. Excellent value as well.
Worth a look. (Check Revzilla web site)
