Choice of colour apart, I prefer the look to the contrasting panel idea that seems to have become vogue since the 1200GS.

In ten years time, when the faults with the electronics have started, the cost of the replacement parts will be greater than the value of the bike.
Then there'll be an abundance of cheap bikes available which will be bought by people happy to retro-fit carburettors, etc, and ride them with ability rather than gadgetry.
But first someone has to buy the new ones, keep encouraging them!
