Klim have put together the mother of all adventure suits, built with a Gore Tex outer so no more water soaked outers. Here are some pics, taken from ADVRider:

Only issue - price... looks like it's going to be 1200+ pounds for the suit :(

Looks like the dogs watsits! Overpriced IMO though...

You can't have one. Klim are a US company......:nono

1200 quid might not be cheap but it compares quite favourably with a top-of-the-range Rukka suit.

Sod Rukka. If it compares favourably to the rest of the KLIM range it is worth the money. May well invest in some of these post my sunny summer trip. :)

Mon plaisir. :)

Take a look around while you have the link. The AS sell some good kit.:thumb2

Mr "On any Sunday" Malcolm Smith the 70's offroad legend who owns the MSR brand was making the MSR ISDE clothing range out of Gortex years ago...

I can remember buying the jacket and trousers and all my mates taking the piss and saying it was a waste of money ...Not so ;) ten years later its still going strong and as waterproof as the day I bought it :clap

Some times you get what you pay :thumb2

Fair play to Klim for making a superb range of offroad gear out of top quality materials ...

This is what I have been waiting for shall start saving :D

It gets worse. 2,500 Canadian Dollars equates to £1,435 not £1,200. :eek

Klim would have invested a small fortune getting that product developed and at the end of the day it not going to sell in massive numbers so they have to balance the books that's why the price is so high :(

But its still good to see a small company investing time and money to offer us a Quality product :clap

Its no different than you guys going out and spending £12,000 on a GS 1200 ADV when a £7000 Suzuki V strom would be as capable :D All I'm saying is that you spend more on your bikes for something you believe to be better quality ...Maybe klim need to do a special edition GS Suit in shite colours and cover it in BMW logo's then it would sell :augie

Its a vicious circle then. They have to charge that price because they're not going to sell many, and they're not going to sell many because they charging that price. :blast

I seem to remember that Hein Gerrickes classic Tuareg suit did sell in "massive numbers" - in fact I've still got one. I prefer the look of the Klim, but couldn't justify one at those prices.

Not really a fair comparison Hein Gerricke are a world wide brand unlike Klim and the Tuareg suit was popular but not on a par with the above which is unique in design ...I've not seen anyone alse making an offroad suit in Gortex no need for the waterproof liners like the TWAT suit or the Tuareg with there water sodden outer when pissing down with rain :thumb2

I'm not saying that £1200 is value for money but its a lot harder for a small company to come up with something like that and sell it at Hein Gerrickes high street prices ...

Plus 12% duty and 17.5% VAT plus vat on the duty plus duty on the shipping plus vat on the duty on the shipping.

You'd be lucky to get one of these babies for much less than two grand.

Or alternatively you could just get them from the UK importer....
