On Saturday I traded in my 06 GS for this:

I've read the post about posting pictures of standard bikes but I haven't seen any blue ones on here or on the road so here it is.

Nice one mate. I brought a new Blue one & took delivery in December last year. Haven`t seen any other blue ones on the road since buying mine! I think the Lupin Blue looks great. Roll on the better weather. I take it you didnt get too much trouble from your 06 Plate GS? Do you notice a big difference with the new Twin Cam engine?

New LB eh? nicer than a parts bin TB but not as nice as my TS.:augie

Did 18,000 miles on the 06, including 8 weeks with the wife on the back around the Greek Islands all with no problems at all.
The new one feels like a different bike (for the jokers, yes I know it actualy is a different bike); definately more go,even running in, smoother and just a bit better in all respects.

As for the "oh no not a blue one guys":- that must be why I got such a good deal, lucky it's got a warrantee eh ;)

Nice one. As a matter of interest, what speeds/rpm`s are you going to run it in at as it seems some go by the manual & others go by the dealer advice? I was told by the dealer no more than 5000RPM until the first 600mile service!

I've got one too :thumb2, kept quiet about it as everybody has been ordering TB. Lupin Blue looks great i love it and i agree it feels better than my previous 06 model GS,having it's first service next week, then upto Scotland end of may for a week can't wait :D.

Yep. I'm also running a Loopin' Bloo in S.E London.
Mind you, it was a tough job picking it out of BMW's
huge range of colours available. ;)

It is a nice colour actually....very smart and I reckon it does suit the bike nicely.

Why they had to go and call it 'Lupin blue' though is beyond me :blast
