Guys, following the help from a couple of Goodly Tossers the rad guard issue has now been resolved.

Here`s images showing the modified rad cover fitting the latest intake shroud, specifically the new `clip`.

Once again, anyone who has ordered the old guards from me (or even Norman or even bought them second hand or even found them :D) and have the new bike just send them back to me for a free exchange - no quibble :thumb

Thanks - this proves to me why this forum is so great as 99% of the time we all help each other :clap

Mark ~ looking good.

Can I just ask one question (after this one) please; (a) are they an easy fit and (b) whether you can 'do' a pair without "LC" (personal preference I accept) easily? Technically 3 questions so far.

There, I've asked.

Oh, and how much? (4)

Oh, and can you powdercoat black? (5)

I could go on.

Thanks, keep up the good work.

Oh, and I need to use "awesome" for the Kid(z)/older & more easily-agitated Members to(o)!

Pal, they are awesome (I guess I would say that) one of the most complex detailed damn sexy fings which have come out of my low IQ brain in a long time :bounce1

Dunno how much they are - go on www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk but remember that VAT is on top (b*stard thing).

Sooooooooooo easy to fit

Yes I can make you a `special` with no logo at no extra cost (just got to remember........)

Yes they can be powder coated but beware as the grille panels are bent out to absorb shock rather than transmit through to the delicate rad and to also maximise airflow - if you powder coat and come to bend them (or they receive an impact) they may chip and look shite.

Don`t like my stuff looking shite...............

Hope I have been a help :thumb

Ooooh, one last question ~ website saying 2013 specific and new design coming for the 2014 (mine is MY 2014), shall I just order the 2013 and leave you to sort it out your end?

No "LC" and no powdercoating is the way.

Very nice.

I`ll send ya the latest design mate and please put on your order (and/or email shelly at [email protected]) "no LC logo please & 2014 model"

and with a fair wind I might actually make the right thing pal!

A huge thanks to Mark, not only are his products high quality, but his service is outstanding too. In addition, having lots of patience and understanding of garbled descriptions of what doesn't fit!

Cheers fella.

Pal, I deal with that all the time followed by `it doesn`t fit` :D

in this occasion I got lucky!

ride safe geezer :thumb

Ayup mark, I'd like to send a pair of 2013 covers back in exchange for 2014 ones, now the BIG question ! any chance you can make a 2014 pair with a criss/cross section in the larger holes where your fingers are poking thro ! or split the larger hole in half (bridged in the middle) !

I'm not a tight fooker so I'd happily pay for your services.

Now then geezer - all you have to do is to send your old ones back for a replacement 2014 model set at no extra cost (well, possibly postage....) but if you want a `special` making I`d happily do that too mate - can`t see why I should charge you as I`ve read ya posts about the problems with your bike and I do genuinely feel for ya - you`ve had a bit of a challenge eh?

However, (and a very kind offer for offering to pay) a very nice bottle of red would be muchly appreciated! As you may know I`m on sticks at the moment and its only the wine that is keeping me from going insane :blast and I do love the stuff much more than money (ya cant drink Wonga.......)

So, I`m happy to make a set of specials for you at no extra cost than postage and red wine and I`ll either `spar` the gap or put hatching in for ya :thumb

I suppose you could always just cut the new clip off the plastic bit.

now then miff - always good to hear from you - and yes I did consider this, its an easy cheap fix but for fear of upsetting anyone (you mean to say I have to cut something off damn you!!!!!!!!) I thought it would be better if I offered a direct FOC replacement to maintain what little reputation I have for service and little business sense :D

I wouldn't expect anyone to start cutting bits off their new bike, but it's probably what I'd do :D
