Just missed your Sunday rideout.. Look forward to the next one..

Currently running around on a VFR800 which will be surplus to requirements so if anyone knows someone who fancies one..

LOL the Credit Crunch only affected people who could qualify for credit !!

Amble, if memory serves me right from my days as a filthy purveyor of all things Chukkie used to be part of what they used to be the Yakkerstan triangle-Draw a triangle around Ashington with Amble, Bedlington and Backworth as the three points and sit back and throw your map away as you've just ruined it!!

there is more than a couple of us kelvin.g 08 gsa, neil23 1150gs, me 08 gsa, kev 55 1200gs, .mick 05 1200gs, there 3 of us that live in gloster meadows, one at broomhill, what are you getting and where from? I picked my new one up 2 weeks ago and it was raining when i picked it up and it hasnt stopped since. the worst being our little jaunt on sunday as pectul,kelvin, and aldy will confirm

There's actually 3 of us, well 4 now including you that i'm aware of living in Amble. Were out most Sundays on the bikes if you fancy a run out when you get the GS.

It's brilliant to know there's a few of us not far apart.

I'm getting a 1200 GS with ABS on an '06. Done only 4200 miles

I'm picking it up on Saturday from Coopers at Boldon. The guys there were very helpful (well they would be, wouldn't they).

I'll probably get my first service their to comply with the warranty but after that I'll do most of it myself. I didn't check which tyres it had on so I'm hoping there Tourances. (fingers x-ed).

So if it's not pissing down over the weekend then you'll probably see me whizzing up and down and around Amble trying her out. I expect she'll have 6000 miles on her by Sunday

I'm ordering some ACF50 from Nippy's and will coat the bike in that just in time for the winter, next week

I was also going to order a tank protector and a secure oil cover.
