I wasn’t aware of the payment system before I had the valves done. I’ve known Tim a long time, he told me it is a group decision which is fair enough. Just that in redneck Norfolk I’ve never come across that before, or anywhere else I’ve been to be honest. You can’t even buy a T-shirt using a debit or credit card, everything is via email and payment link.

not much different to buying from Amazon surely? My only caveat is that they accept the online payment by credit card for the added layer of protection, especially if the bill is over £100.

When you follow the link you have to choose your bank, I don’t use credit cards so mine payment debited straight from the bank.

Yeah, John is dead keen on buying it and would have swapped his modified r9t that was in the showroom for it. I think I’m going to keep it, took the scenic route home. I may take a run over to sycamore tomorrow.

My steed of awesomeness/wankpanzer is going back to Norwich again for this years service on 28th. I called to find out what service was needed and get a price so I could compare with Ethan in Sudbury. Turns out Gp1 are cheaper (by £40) as it’s only a small service plus Ethan is bonkers busy.
Buying a service kit with oil from NN is only £60 cheaper so I’m popping over in a fortnight and will of course get some grub at Norfolk Foodhall.

they have no card machines?? So they don’t take cash or card, the only way you can pay is by payment link they send you via text or email.
Not sure what people will think about that.

Since your experience in March they haven’t changed their methods but now send a text 24 hours in advance warning of this payment process.

Let’s see how easy it is later on……

Bike service completed exactly as advised and no further issues (upselling) identified. Came to paying after a couple of texts with hyperlinks and the lovely Claire just said, let’s pay by card online, it’s easier and our card machine is on its way….
Pleasant experience and so many shiny tempting machines in the showroom, glad I wandered offsite for the 2 hours.
