Hi All,
I'm sure if anyone will be interested or not? From the 1st November the law for number plates changes for all dealerships.
Dealers will no longer be able to put their web sites and logo's onto thier plates. They will only be able to put the dealer name and post code. This will not effect any plates curently on bikes or cars so you won't need to change the plates you have. This is due to be extended in the future to the GB style plate, anything other than the blue euro flag will fail an MOT. I am not aware of any date for this at the moment but when I find out i will let you all know.
So if you buy you new 1200 or other next month, you will no longer get the little BMW logo at the bottom of the plate:-( I think its a shame, it dose nothing to stop the plate being read and it adds a little class to the other wise borring part of the bike.
So if you haven't got a plate like this and you would like one, get to your local dealer fast before thier stock runs out.
