New panniers on the market?

Mmm............ who knows - he may be able to make bespoke topboxes etc? :nenau

He should maybe think about a "range" of fixed sizes (a la MetalMule).

Well bespoke does mean "made to measure"
Top box is £125 he's not got a quick release system yet so it would need to be fixed in place.
I got my panniers yesterday, well made and bloody solid, ideal seats for my 18 stone bulk when camping :D
I'll post pics as soon as thier fitted.

Anyone wanting a set contact Roger on 01487711565 or mob 07931288035

Cant fault the man on his service :thumb2

Thanks :blast I know what bespoke means, my advice was more for the maker, in that being able to offer a fixed range, allows him to perhaps build up a small stock, and also for other folk to offer inner bags to suit.

Al :)

Glad to hear you are pleased with them - looking forward to the pics (and how much the whole installation cost, including frames)

Fitted on Givi rails which dont sit completly straight. Probably better with touratech or such like but givi is cheaper, mines were s/h from ebay.

The rails cost me £47 panniers £275 with postage total £322

The larger pannier wont open with the top box in place, but the smaller one opens enough to allow plenty of space to load unload it. Of course the top box comes off with a turn of a key.

Roger kindly sent me some extra catches as I was considering converting the lids to be removable.

As for the boxes themselves their solid, they make great seats for camping. Some of the finish on the fittings isnt top notch but if you want that you can pay touratech prices.

For the money I would highly recomend them

More pics please, Stef (mounts, interior, etc) and costs :nenau

Boxes are powder coated inside and out so no aluminum oxide on anything you put inside.
