Just fitted fastway pegs and a new rear brake lever made by a company called BBAluminium here in Oz.
The fastways you all know about, but the brake sits higher due to the design going over rather than under the peg, it is also larger.
The brake is much easier to apply when standing (I always found the stocker uncomfortably low and had to make a big effort to bend my ankle far enough down to get a good plant on the brake when offroad) Combined with the fastways, early indications are that the setup provides a much more secure and controlled standing position, although I haven't had it out for a prolonged offroad test yet.
For sitting the combo puts the brake a tad high but I have resoved this problem by installing the longer screw cleats on the RH peg and using both of the stock rubbers on that side as well - pretty comfortable now for use around town.
Here is a picture without the rubbers
