New R1200GS

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and I just bought a new 2007 R1200GS from Lone Star BMW in Austin, Texas. I've owned several BMW's over the last 35 years, including a couple of airhead GS's, but this is the first oilhead for me. I only have a couple of hundred miles on it so I'm still learning about it.

I've enjoyed reading many of the posts here, particularly those about tools and additional equipment. Thanks for the information. Perhaps in the near future I'll have something to contribute as I learn more about the bike.
