Does anyone know when the new black/gray rallye 2 suit is available?

New Rallaye 3 suit will be available probably around March in black/light grey or Blue/Grey, new back pocket design, but no rear clear number/map pocket.

There was a few photos either on this site or another, but i can`t find them.

My God, it's the STIG!!!! We have found out who it is! :dabone

On another note. Are the Rallye jackets any good? what are they best for? is it summer or winter or a bit of both? My concern is spending the best part of 5 or 600 quid on a suit that is crap during the winter!

cheers

I have a rallye 2 and don't think its best for winter. The outer fabric gets wet. It's only the inner goretex liner that keeps you dry. I used one for Touring Scotland this summer which wasn't exactly dry but the suit was fine. Commuting in winter which I also do I would not reccomend.

On the positive side it is extremely good in warm weather, very cool with vents open, very comfortable. Suit can be washed without fuss without the goretex liner. Normal wash in a washing machine. Extremely well made and loads of pockets. Too bad UK doesn't have the weather for it all year.

I find that if you wash & reproof the outer regularly it does reduce the amount of water which gets through the outer and weighs it down.

What's the best suit.......

Without doubt the Streetguard is the best non leather suit in the BMW range

It's fully waterproof without the need for Goretex liners, and as such there's no problem with overheating in summer

I wear one through the winter with the BMW neoprene type leggings/fleece and don't find problems with cold

Some good deals around at the moment if you can find a dealer with some of the old stock :thumb
