Today I finally gave in and agreed to trade my much loved K1300S for a 90 th special edition RT with £1800 worth of extras included as a special BMW summer offer.

Not sure when I will collect it as I need to get my number plate swapped over. Hoping Mrs YMFB will visit DVLA local office on Monday.

Ordered my 90th Anniversary model too to coincide with m retirement in a couple of months. Matt black with all the goodies except a radio and an alarm.

Can't wait !!

Anyone want my 1150 lol !! Cheeky dealer gave me a good trade in price but said he didn't really want it and offered me an extra incentive to try an sell it privately !!

Baz.

I bought my 1200RT earlier in the year and got all the extras that are included in the summer offer - they are all excellent and you wont be disappointed. The tank bag is superb, and the pannier liners are an excellent idea, nicely executed. The dealer actually fitted my own TomTom for free! I did buy the audio system which I am not sure is worth it - probably scrub round that next time.

I love the bike - such a huge improvement on my old 1150 (which I also loved but became more and more unreliable).

I will have two BMW Navigator IV's. not sure whether to sell one or keep both, one per bike.

Dealer emailed me yesterday asking me to choose my number plate so not long now before my 90th anniversary model is ready :friday

Make me an offer, which I can consider whilst I'm flying back.

Not Just yet.

I might have sold one of the sat navs, but have now decided against it as there is some perceived benefit in keeping one for blood bike duties.

Had the RT about 3 weeks, already had first service and been washed 4 times !

Additions already are a black powder coated crud catcher from Cymarc, a fender extender, some carbon frame protectors where the boots will rub and am sure something else will catch my attention soon like a rear fender extender :-)

I've done exactly the same as you and swapped in my K1300S for the 90th edition RT, so far very pleased (not that I've ridden it anywhere yet) Spookily I have also fitted the carbon frame protectors and the crud catcher and the fender extender..............
I can however beat you to the mark on the rear fender extender, BMW do a factory item which fits in minutes and is adjustable once fitted. I got mine from motorworks http://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Shop/Parts.php?T=5&NU=15&M=35&Ct=NA&SbCt=BA_15_35_NA_45

I've also just won a Remus Hexacone Titanium exhaust on fleabay so I'm looking forward to seeing how that sounds :D

Looking forward to 2014 and the Scottish and Spanish trips we have planned
