New screen but which one?

I have decided to invest in a new screen for my gs as iam fed up with the buffeting coming from standard screen. Can anyone give me advise on which ones are up to the job.Dont really want to go for something really tall as i think they look a bit naff. Answers plz.

Givi AF330 is great....compared unfavourably with the standard GS screen as fitted to the loaner I had last week. If you can do the winglets as well, even better.

Iv got a vario no buffeting also don't wobble much cos it's a lot thicker than standard one too

I'm planning to sell my Wunderlich Ergo in dark tint. Fitted with Tobinators it leans back to avoid turbulence. Colour is cool too.
It's thick acrylic so no wobbles

I find the best way to cure buffeting is to keep your head in constant airflow.
I have the standard screen laid as low as it'll go with tobinators fitted. The Givi Airflow works well but again I find I have this laid as low as it'll go to keep the helmet in good constant flow, but the Givi does give nicer protection width wise. Also ride with the bottom half of the Givi only, which is perfect once you get used to a little wind around the chest and shoulders, all solutions give zero buffeting and with earplugs very little wind noise.

Ok I have the chance of a second hand cee baileys touring screen from a 2012 gs. Does anyone know if it will fit my 04 gs.

Sound advice required! Sometime ago I dumped the std GS screen on my 04 1200 and fitted a Givi 330 (plus tobinators and winglets). This has cured all buffeting but 10 hours on the bike yesterday convinced me that the cocoon of ‘still air’ behind the screen serves to reveal / amplify the engine and road noise. My thoughts are: has anyone else experienced this prob, may be std screen plus extender is a better solution noise wise, has anyone fitted noise deadening insulation around the plastic beak /tank / side panels to kill any resonance or sound conduction? It’s noticeable that when standing up on the foot pegs the air flow seems to sweep engine / road noise away. For the record I wear ear plugs, the bike appears to be free from FD or engine / transmission issues, and sometime ago I swopped Anakee3 for a set of Anakee2 which usefully reduced tyre noise. Any thoughts?

I've got a NN high wide on my 2012 triple black, no tobinators. I'm 6ft and it works a treat, no buffeting and the top of my lid is just in the airflow, if i dip my head a bit its very quiet out of the airflow but sitting normally its just a comfortable balance between light wind pressure and noise. I can ride up to 70mph with my visor up if i want. Just done a 1600 mile trip into europe and it was so much better than the standard screen. At £65 its good value too.

I'v got a Givi 330 plus winglets and they are a revelation on the stranded screen, I'm 5'9" and use a low seat and can ride all day with my flip top lid up.

Do a search for the Givi 330....you will find a very long thread extolling the virtues....especially when fitted with winglets. Not the best looking screen but I had this set up on my GS and I was the best set up I have had on any bike....including the RT.

Ear plugs I've got the 330 plus Anakee3s, and the noise without earplugs is horrible.

I would never ride without earplugs unless it was a 5 minute journey. The fatigue caused during a long journey as well as long term hearing damage are just too high a price to pay.

Another for the NN screen, I bought one of these the other week http://www.nippynormans.com/products...-wde-1200gs-sh im 6"3 and it stops the buffeting, not the prettiest of screens but does the job and is cheap.
