Hi Peter,
Please put me down for a test ride, see you there!

I was in the area today (well in Exeter) so called in for a look. As I had not been to the Bike Shows, I had not actually seen the new bike in the metal/plastic.

Pleasantly surprised by how "together" it all looked. Still looked weird with smooth back to cylinders ie no cooling fins.

Very impressed with Customer Service at Ocean.:thumb SWMBO/Pinklady was extremely pleased to be offered Earl Grey tea.:thumb2

Thank you Ocean.:)

Funny you should mention that: I called in last week to collect a part and SWMBO took herself off into the under-glass sale area for some light refreshment, I joined her there and the coffee's were very good - as were the plated snacks. (I suspect being a car dealership too has a bearing on the matter ;))

But do you actually have any R1200GS WCs for sale ?

Have been into several dealerships in the south who seem to have demo bikes, plenty sat around with SOLD stickers on them, but nothing actually available to buy !

Asking the question does not result in a straight answer. Unlike the Yamaha, Honda and Ducati dealerships who have "real" bikes for sale (in real showrooms) and can supply within the week.

I suppose I could always order a "virtual" one. :(

Well, people on here would have you believe there are hundreds of unsold bikes floating around, but that obviously isn't the case.:blast It's a brand new incarnation of the best selling bike, and people that have ordered one months ago are still waiting for theirs, so if you want one, it looks like you'll have to do what everyone else has, and order one:rob:D
