I love my new Adventure and i have now done 300 miles on it, but i am struggling maneuvering it when sat still due to being a tadge stumpy so i tried a low gs seat on it today at ocean and what a difference an inch makes! So i have been given permission from the boss to buy a low seat. What I would like to know is what you guys recommend? I know someone with a sergant seat who says I can try his but are there others out there i should look at.
Cheers,

Andy

If you can try before you buy I definetly would.

If your going to buy a seat specified for the 1200GS you will benefit from an extra inch without having to specify a lower seat specification, if you really want to drop the seat height some companies offer really low versions for the GS

Sergeant is very popular, although some find the extra width can do away with some of the lowering as your legs are spread further.

Corbin have a version which I've never seen personally but read a couple of owner reports that it's very wide compared to the stock.

Kahedo make various versions for Touratech which are all on the TT website, have a look and see whats available in styles and seat heights.

I've just picked up a one piece Kahedo seat for my bike which is ver well made and is more comfortable ethan the stock item.

Another option is to have your current seats rescupted by a professional and recovered. I had the ones on my last bikeworked on by Melvyn Hunter and they were fantastic.

Happy shopping :thumb

You want to use as high a seat as possible. I use the standard GS seat on mine, which is lower than the GSA seat. Works a treat (for me).

Obviously the lower you go, the more crampted your knees.
