Before spending a lot of money on a new seat see if you can borrow an Airhawk.

sargent seat it is the dogs, I ride 400 mile to work north wales to aberdeen and i dont need to get off, for the last two trips i have been on motorrads demonstrator with the standard seat and it is crap buy a sargent you will not regret it.
Can anyone recommend a really good seat for my GSA 2008?
Just come back from North wales to the Treharris and my backside is dead!
