Managed to get my hands on a used 1250 Rallye seat and thought it would finish of my bike perfectly. Really pleased with the look of it although it's not as comfortable as the standard one..

Great colour scheme and the rallye seat finishes it off nicely you could always have the Oem pillion seat cover modified with the rallye colours (i was thinking of doing that to mine) if you find the rallye seat too uncomfortable.
I do agree that the Rally seat is not as soft as either the OEM seat or any other comfort seat. However, to me, it is my preferred seat when riding the long runs.
What makes it my #1 choice is the fact that it possible to slide and change riding position. So even if it not so soft it feels better to me. Also, when riding standing up on gravel roads it feels narrower close to the tank, and this makes the standing up position more comfortable.
But I guess we are all different with different preferences. Fair enough…(and the Rally trim at rear gives it a fresher look)
I also agree the rallye seat is much more pleasing in the eye than the arse. I had both for use on my 2017 Gs rallye. The single one and the dual option for longer trips.
I’m looking at the 1250 rallye for sept, so will get this seat for that model
I had the Rallye seat on my Rallye (funnily enough ) and went all over Europe without any problems. I did keep an Airhawk in the top box just in case though, but never needed it.
