It was supposed to come out next year. No internal battery, can be charged via a phone or a power pack. Depending of the size of the pack up to 72 hours. No back protector, but Level 2 back and front. Ideal in hot weather.

Smart GO is the Dainese electronic airbag system designed to bring D-air® protection to everyday riding. Lightweight, compact and easy to wear, it offers Level 2 certified protection on the chest and back without the need for a physical connection to the bike.

Protection designed for every day
- 780 g in weight, including gas generator
- Level 2 certified protection for the chest and back
- No physical connection to the motorcycle
- Wearable over or under motorbike gear or casual clothing
- Power supply via OTG compatible USB-C smartphone or Smart GO Powerbank
- Managed through the Dainese D-air® App
- Gas generator that can be replaced by the user up to three times

Designed to adapt to any daily routine, Smart GO can be worn over or under motorcycle or casual garments. The adjustable structure allows the device to be adapted to different body sizes and to maintain the space necessary for the correct expansion of the airbag in case of activation.

The D-air® system independently monitors riding conditions. Smart GO arms when it detects certain conditions, such as exceeding 10 km/h or the vibrations generated by the vehicle. The D-air® algorithm, developed for road use, is designed to recognize different accident dynamics and activate protection in a few milliseconds.

Smart GO offers certified Level 2 airbag protection on the chest and back. The airbag uses a patented diaphragm structure and the gas generator, housed in the rear, can be replaced directly by the user up to three times, according to the prescribed methods.

Even the power supply is designed to simplify daily use. Smart GO can be connected to a USB-C smartphone compatible with OTG technology or to the dedicated Smart GO Powerbank (product sold separately), which offers up to 72 hours of battery life during use. The connection is made via the integrated USB-C cable, while the device is managed through the Dainese D-air® App.

The compact and lightweight construction makes it easy to use even on the hottest days: the front part can be folded inwards and fixed in place with magnets to improve air flow while riding. Once off the bike, Smart GO can be easily stored under the scooter saddle, in a motorcycle bag or in a backpack.
The device can also be used with the 15-liter Smart GO Backpack, designed to integrate with Smart GO through a dedicated magnetic attachment system (product sold separately).

Smart GO brings Dainese D-air® airbag technology into everyday life: advanced, lightweight and easy-to-use protection, designed to integrate seamlessly into the habits of those who get around every day on two wheels.

Disclaimer: The D-air® system only intervenes when the activation conditions are met. It does not replace responsible riding or eliminate all risks associated with vehicle use.

I don't know if I'd trust any device needing control via an app. I'll be sticking with my lanyard air vest for now. The extra weight is a non issue for me.
