its hardly different on the even later stuff - a 4cyl k1300 up to 2015 has the same ECU as a 2004 R1200 and pretty much the rest of its electrics are shared
the 3 strips failing is why I suggested the Argentinian one - you haven't provided any info on what you did re pinning the J1 socket
