Thanks for the input at the Cotswolds bash (like `shut up` and `stop snoring` and `put ya pants back on`:D)

I did turn up with the prototype sump guard, mostly for Nuts to take a gander (NuttyGSER) but also for any positive opinions and here is the final design incorporating those kind suggestions.

I will make them to order if anyone wants one please pm me but please be aware that I`m on crutches now for six very long sad weeks :(

Stainless steel under satin black powder coating - smaller than the previous GS sump guard - made to last and endure a good kicking :D

Nuts - as promised............

mate, I can`t put any weight on the knackered bone end for 6 weeks - the best I can do is ask someone to wheel the bike out, allow me to photo it and then wheel it back in.

I`ll try to get an innocent passing stranger tmoz to do it - can`t ask the wife, she will only drop it...................

Soz - I really am knackered :(

I`d guess I`d say this but it does look much nicer than the prototype

Understood mate, no problem.:comfort:D

I thought with you being an ex Royal killing Machine this would only warrant as a mere flesh wound:blast:augie

Keep taking the tablets and stay off it ,

Time is the killer for an active person,
just use it to think up other farkles for bikes.
get well soon mate :thumb

Well it was a year before I actually decided to do anything about it and yes five weeks to go and the sticks get burnt. I had the op on Friday, was given a sick note for six weeks but was back at work Monday morning crippling about like a fiend (albeit a slow fiend) :D

Thanks for the good wishes mate :thumb2

Hi Mark,
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.I like the look of the guard. Have you got a price for it yet?

thank you for the kind wishes :clap

no - aven`t get a price for it yet but will do - expect something competitive with the best quality out there, cheaper but not more than

Link for your website? Please.

And good luck with the recovery.

Lincoln eh? Why don`t you come over for a free fitting (if you buy one - but you don`t have to, come over anyway and I will show you what I do, make you a coffee and talk bollocks about bikes)

:thumb

and yeah I hope to make a good recovery thanks with the sticks being set on fire in five weeks time..................

Mark

That looks the biz.... and it's compatible with your front protector.

Looks like a winner to me. :thumby:
