New to BMW. Have I bought the correct crash bars?

I just took delivery of my 2014 R1200GS

TE last week. I didn't have crash bars so I've picked up a set on eBay.

Would anyone know if I have got the correct ones? The thing that is throwing me off is that they have an extra connection point on the top to connect to upper crash bars. Does that mean they should be on an Adventure rather than mine?

Are they BMW crash bars? If so you might find a part number on them. If you can, x refer to this site and check.

Judging by the shite welding, yeah, they are the right bars

Yes they are Adventure bars, they will still do the job as intended, the corresponding upper bars won't fit a non Adv GS as the upper panels and bodywork are different.

Cheers for the replies. Got them fitted now. Going to use the upper mount points for spots
