Sorry old bean, meant to say, yes I do all my own servicing like you. The point I was making is that contrary to what this site may lead you to believe the bike is are very well engineered and very reliable and so long as you stick to the service intervals the bike will be fine. I totally agree re dealership servicing costs, absolutly scandalous. I also run a Ducati S4RS 1000 Monster and can do a belt and valve clearance checks for the cost of the parts compared to the £600 a Ducati dealership would charge!
