Do your screen adjustment knobs vibrate loose every 10 miles?
I fitted the new knobs to my 09 GSA. They vibrate loose, then they break when give them a good tighten.

Mine don't vibrate loose and it has been on since May-ish.

Get the screen in the position you like, then replace the end dome cap nut with nyloc nuts, and tighten up..... they won't come loose then, but the screen won't be quite so adjustable

How about Wing nuts with spring washers on the inside?

Good idea but not really an option for me, as I adjust the screen frequently to suit the roads – highish for m/way and low for town a minor roads.
Mmm now that might be the way forward. Won’t look pretty though.
