True, true (anybody wanna buy a 2010 400exc, swap yer for a TTR250 ). How-ev-eeeerr, you could say the same about BMW, big so-called trail bikes and RTW trips that you could probably do on a CB500, no?

I think we con ourselves. Every KTM dealer I've spoken to, I would trust to say "actually sir, you'd be better off with a 250EXC-F (or whatever)" if someone asked for a 530 for a green laner. I'm as guilty as the next person mind having a 950SE
In my defence, I do tour on it as well, and do long distance off roading (trans Pyrenees off road last year etc).Oh and the subject of this thread - very nice!!

Very nice white bike!! Is it still white? I got the 09 530EXC and go green laneing with my local dealer. I'm a novice and it's a great bike. Very docile when going past horses and then a rocket when you need to scare ya self but I'm 18 stone and 6'3 so I love the torque. Great at going through Fords and up hills. Enjoy
